Chicken Cacciatore
Ingredients:
2 Tbs olive oil 3 lbs chicken breasts, boneless Salt and pepper to taste 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 small onion, chopped 1 lb fresh mushrooms, thickly sliced 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 cup flour 1/2 dry white wine 1/2 cup chicken broth 2 Tbs tomato paste 1 14 1/2-oz can diced tomatoes, drained 1 tsp dried basil leaves 1/2 tsp dried oregano leaves 1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves
Directions:
Add onions to bottom of stoneware. Add chicken, and then top chicken with remaining ingredients. Cover cook on Low 7 to 9 hours or on High 4 to 5 hours.
