Burns everytime used!!I got this for Christmas and loved that it has the options of cooking at a time you want not just on high or low..also a warming feature, however, it does not matter how long I put my food on for, it burns every single time and sticks to the sides. I am very disappointed especially since it is a Crockpot name. I always use the low setting and it comes out very hot as well as on the warm setting. Not sure how this can be?! I am hoping I am able to get a new one or a refund since this ruins my food every time I use it. How can you charge so much for a product that does not work properly? I don't give it a 1 but that is the lowest start you can give.

WAY TOO HOTI have had this crock pot for a couple of years now and it doesn't matter what I do everything burns to the bottom of the pot. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ME A GENERIC ANSWER LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. I have followed all the instructions and suggestions and nothing seems to be working. I have done everything right. Obviously, there is a problem with this crock pot if most people are complaining about it being too hot. I have had a few crock pots from you over the years and this one is ridiculous. So maybe you guys need to check into this seriously.

Way too hot!!Bought this slow cooker to replace an older manual model with a cracked pot. The first time we used it, it was burning the food, even on a low setting. We tried it again, several weeks later. Because it was so hot, we set it to “stay warm”. Even on this setting, the food cooked very fast and even burned along the sides of the pot. I checked it out today on “stay warm” with an infrared thermometer. The average temperature of the pot was about 225°F, and the hottest point was over 250°F! On “Stay Warm”!!
Stay away from this crock pot! It is obviously badly engineered or they are using faulty components!

over heatsI bought this in February this year have used it 3 times with the same out come....runs VERY HOT! I even tried just using the "keep warm" setting, with it just under 3/4 full and my roast/vegetables still burnt and dried out after 5 hour, as well the counter underneath the crock pot became extremely hot that could not touch the counter for about 30min after removing the crock pot from that spot.

No ReccomendedI got this as a gift last year for Christmas. I have only used it probably 3 or 4 times because it is so hot it burns everything! Even on the warm or low setting it drys things out and starts to burn them before I turn it off. I tried to upload a picture but it wouldn't let me.

Good ServiceWe bought a new Crock-Pot that had an issue on day one. I was pleasantly surprised that the Crock-Pot employees dealt with the issue both promptly and fairly; a rare and pleasant surprise for us. Keep it up guys.

We got our Crock Pot about ten years ago, and it works fine (I don't remember using the high setting, so as far as I know food never did burn). However the plastic that handles and other parts are made of easily breaks from becoming brittle, as the cover holder at the back of the Crock Pot did. Now some of the screws are loose inside the Crock Pot, and I can't open it to take the screws out so they don't damage the wiring inside and become a fire hazard.
Up until now I would have recommended buying a Crock-Pot, but I'm not so sure anymore.
