
Crock-Pot® Chicken Tandoori

Time on High: 4 to 6 hours Time on Low: 6 hours Mildly spicy, tender bites of chicken in a yummy tandoori sauce. If you love to try new recipes and get out of your comfort zone this is the ideal recipe for you!
Ingredients
1 to 2 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken tenderloins, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 Teaspoon chili powder
1 Teaspoon cumin powder
1 Teaspoon tandoori powder
1 Teaspoon Hungarian paprika
1/2 Teaspoon each of salt and pepper
1/2 Cup chopped onions
1/2 Cup chopped green bell peppers
1 Tablespoon chopped garlic
2 Tablespoons fresh, chopped cilantro
1 (6 Ounce) can of tomato paste
1 Stick of butter
1 Cup of chicken broth
Instructions
1. First step: Mix chopped chicken with chili powder, cumin powder, tandoori powder, and Hungarian paprika. Mix well and add salt and pepper.
2. Second step: Melt the stick of butter, and add bell pepper, onion, garlic and tomato paste. Mix well, and blend with chicken mixture.
3. Third step: Place in Crock-Pot® slow cooker, and cover with 2 Tablespoons of fresh, chopped cilantro and 1 cup of chicken broth.
4. Cover and cook for 4 to 6 hours on High, or 6 hours on low.
Serve over rice. Also, tastes great with a side Naan bread.
