Italian Wedding Soup with Three Cheese Tortellini
Time on High: 1 hour Time on Low: 3 hours Meatballs, cheese filled tortellini and a delectable broth make this soup the easiest and tastiest you will ever serve. Beautiful enough for a wedding or special occassion but easy enough for a busy weeknight.
9 Ounces package refrigerated three cheese tortellini
1 Package frozen Italian style meatballs
1/2 Onion, thinly sliced
Juice of one lemon
Pinch of salt
2 1/2 Cups kale, chopped
1 Teaspoon dried basil
1 Teaspoon minced garlic
6 Cups chicken stock
1 Cups celery, chopped
Pinch of sugar
Dash of pepper
Combine all ingredients in the Crock-Pot® slow cooker.
Turn on High for 1 hour.
Switch the unit to Low for 3 hours.
