Time on High: 3 to 4 Hours Time on Low: 4 to 6 Hours Tender chicken strips in a sesame ginger marinade, and orzo pasta.

Ingredients

2 Cups water (or chicken broth) (to rinse marinade bottle)
1 Orzo pasta (16 Ounce package)
1 Bottle Lawry's sesame ginger marinade sauce
1 Large package rinsed chicken tenders
Veggies of your choice (I am leaving them out of this recipe tonight)

Instructions

Add one cup water, to your Crock-Pot® slow cooker, before adding Crock-Pot® slow cooker liner (so your bag doesn't burn). Add rinsed tenders, marinade, and rinse the bottle twice with water or chicken broth, pouring on top of chicken. Add veggies (like baby carrots, onion chunks, etc). Set on LOW and cook 4 to 6 hours. Pour in the bag of Orzo (1/2 the bag if you want plenty of juice left-over or the whole bag if you want it thicker with pasta), stir to separate and soak orzo making sure it is all under water, recover, cook 30 minutes. Stir every 10 minutes to separate orzo.

Due to gradual and even heating of a slow cooker, recipes featured on this site can be cooked in a range of slow cooker sizes. Most recipes can be accommodated in a slow cooker that is either one quart smaller or one quart larger than specified. If using a smaller sized slow cooker, please use caution when preparing your meal to prevent over filling. For smaller sauces and dips that call for 3 quarts or less, it is not recommended to alter the unit size. Crock-Pot® is a registered trademark and should not be used generically when referring to a ‘slow cooker’ within the recipes.
