
Cajun Pot Roast

Time on High: 4 to 6 Hours Time on Low: 6 to 8 Hours This is a recipe that my mom showed me how to make and I have made it for many years and now my daughter prepares it for her family.
Ingredients
3 Pound boneless chuck roast
Cajun seasoning
1 Cup chopped green bell pepper
1 Cup sliced carrots
1 Cup chopped parsnip
1 Cup chopped rutabaga
1 Cup chopped turnip
1 Cup chopped white mushrooms
1 Cup green beans 2 inches
1 Medium yellow onion chopped
1 Cup corn
1 Can of diced tomatoes 14 Ounces
1 Can of diced tomatoes with jalapeno chilies
2 Tablespoons of hot sauce
1 Teaspoon of sugar
1/2 Teaspoon black pepper
3/4 Cup of water
Instructions
Season both sides of the chuck roast with the Cajun seasoning, place into the Crock-Pot® then and in the rest of the ingredients ending with the water.
