
Traditional Corned Beef and Cabbage

Time on High: 4 to 5 hours Time on Low: 8 to 10 hours We make this every year for St. Patrick's Day! Very delicious and a must have during the festivities.
Ingredients
12 New potatoes, quartered
4 Carrots, sliced
4 Pounds corned beef brisket
2 Onions, sliced
3 Bay leaves
8 Black peppercorns
1 Head cabbage, wedged
Instructions
Place potatoes and carrots in bottom of the Crock-Pot® slow cooker.
Add brisket, onion, bay leaves and peppercorns.
Add water, making sure the unit is 1/2 to 3/4 full.
Cook on Low 8 to 10 hours or High 4 to 5 hours.
Add cabbage halfway through cooking.
