Time on High: 3 to 4 hours Time on Low: 7 to 9 hours Who doesn't love a good pasta recipe?! The sauce tastes so much better than the stuff from a jar. It's also nice to come home to the smell of home cooked food where you didn't have to slave away in the kitchen.
4 Pounds chicken thighs, cut into quarters
4 Red peppers, sliced
2 Yellow peppers, sliced
2 Onions, sliced
56 Ounces plum tomatoes, canned, drained
6 Teaspoons garlic, minced
1/2 Teaspoon salt
1/2 Teaspoon dried thyme
1/2 Teaspoon fennel, crushed
6 Strips orange peel
1 Cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
Place ingredients in Crock-Pot® slow cooker, except for basil leaves. Mix thoroughly.
Cover; cook on Low 7 to 9 hours or High 3 to 4 hours.
Sprinkle with basil before serving with pasta.
