Spanish Chicken

8 chicken drumsticks
1 tsp salt
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
2 cured chorizo sausages, sliced
2 red peppers, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1 cup diced tomatoes
1/3 cup tomato paste
1/4 cup dry white wine
3 bay leaves
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)


Season chicken with salt, paprika and pepper; add to Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker. Add sausages, peppers, onion and garlic. Stir together tomatoes, tomato paste and wine; pour over chicken. Add bay leaves.

Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or until chicken is tender and cooked through; remove bay leaves. Sprinkle with parsley (if using) before serving.

Tip: If desired, stir in 1/3 cup pitted and halved black olives before serving.
Tip: Serve over a bed of steaming rice or buttered noodles if desired.
