Ingredients

8 Ounces pizza dough
8 Ounces sliced mozzarella cheese
1/2 Cup pizza sauce
1 Tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
Pinch crushed red pepper
8 Ounces thinly sliced pepperoni or 6 fresh basil leaves, sliced in strips

Instructions

Preheat the Crock-Pot® slow cooker on HIGH setting.
Spray stoneware with nonstick cooking spray.

Next, spread a thin layer of sauce over the crust. Add mozzarella slices over the dough. Be sure to overlap slices, in circular pattern until fully covered. If preparing pepperoni pizza, add a layer of pepperoni and then sprinkle with the Parmesan; or if preparing Margarita pizza, sprinkle with sliced Basil.

Cover and cook on HIGH up to 1 hour until cheese is melted and the crust is firm and brown. Remove from stoneware using a spatula.

Tip: 6-quart Crock-Pot® slow cooker is recommended. Regardless of quart size, you can still prepare recipe. Just make sure the dough is cooked through before adding toppings.

Due to gradual and even heating of a slow cooker, recipes featured on this site can be cooked in a range of slow cooker sizes. Most recipes can be accommodated in a slow cooker that is either one quart smaller or one quart larger than specified. If using a smaller sized slow cooker, please use caution when preparing your meal to prevent over filling. For smaller sauces and dips that call for 3 quarts or less, it is not recommended to alter the unit size. Crock-Pot® is a registered trademark and should not be used generically when referring to a ‘slow cooker’ within the recipes.
