Oatmeal with Maple-Glazed Apples and Cranberries recipe from Crock-Pot® 5 Ingredients or Less cookbook (item # 2275100) Makes 4 servings Cook Time: 8 hours (LOW)

Ingredients

3 cups water
2 cups quick-cooking or old-fashioned oats
¼ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon unsalted butter
2 medium red or Golden Delicious apples, unpeeled and cut into ½-inch pieces
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons sugar-free maple syrup
4 tablespoons dried cranberries

Instructions

1. Combine water, oats and salt in CROCK-POT® slow cooker. Cover; cook on LOW 8 hours.
2. Melt butter in large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add apples and cinnamon; cook and stir 4 to 5 minutes or until tender. Stir in syrup; heat through.
3. Serve oatmeal with apple mixture and dried cranberries.
