5 eye of round beef
Time on High: 6 to 8 hours Time on Low: 10 to 12 hours This is a delicious Saurbraten. It came from my mothers recipe but i made it my own. Delicious.
5 Pound eye of round
Salt and pepper, to taste
3 Cans canned brown gravy
1 Packet dry brown gravy
1/2 Bottle small ketchup
1 Onion peeled,whole
3/4 Cup vinegar
1/2 Teaspoon ground cloves
2 Tablespoon brown sugar
1 Pound bag noodles
2 Tablespoon butter
1. Salt and pepper the beef, to taste. Place in Crock-Pot® slow cooker . Add 2 cups water.
cook on high for 5 hours. Remove and slice thin. Keep juices from meat. Return to Crock-Pot® slow cooker.
2. In sauce pan on stove put in cans of beef gravy, ketchup, onion, vinegar, cloves, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Simmer 1/2 hour. Remove onion.
3. After you return meat to Crock-Pot® slow cooker, add beef gravy mixture . When it is simmering, add dry mix. Stir well and cook another hour.
4. Cook noodles according to package in salted water. Drain. Add butter and saute noodles about 5 minutes on high heat. Serve meat and gravy on noodles.
