Rated 4 out of 5 by from I fixed the problem with the I and II settings.... I just took a black marker and drew a line from the bottom of the "I" to make it an "L" for low and drew another horizontal line in the middle of the "II" to make it an "H" for high!! Problem solved and I won't have to keep checking the Internet for the answer when I forget which setting is which! I use my crock pot A LOT and love it for big batches of stuff like chili, pulled pork, soups, stews and bean casseroles, just to name a few. Sometimes it is a bit too big, but I usually just freeze the leftover leftovers or make sure I invite people over if I make too much of something!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Unclear markings! I cooked a pork shoulder in my new crock pot for 12 hours on what I thought was the low setting, and was very disappointed that it did not seem fully cooked after that amount of time. Turns out, I'd had it on 'keep warm'... which was not explained anywhere in the instruction manual! It's rather ridiculous that there is nothing in the book nor on the unit itself that indicates what those symbols mean. Will be changing those markings as soon as my CrockPot is cooled down this time. Other than that issue, I do like the oval shape of this appliance much better than the old round one I had for years. Mine came with the 'Little Dipper' as a bonus, but I don't like it as much as the large pot, due to the fact that it can't be taken apart for cleaning, and can't be immersed in soapy water. The price was right, as mine was on sale.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Problems with directions. My grandson gave me this as a housewarming gift when I moved into my new condo. The owner's Guide omits a picture of the controls and on the pot, they are simply strokes. I don't know which is High and which is Low. I presume that the one with the crockpot symbol is the keep warm feature but there is nothing to tell me which is which

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Settings Unclear Although a good deal, the settings for Low, High and warm are not marked OR identified in the manual. This doubled the cost of the unit and ruined my day! Posting an addendum to the manual as suggested previously by another user.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love my crockpot! Love this product, just wish the manual gave directions on what the symbols mean on the actual crockpot. Been using it for months and i could never figure out what setting i was cooking on. Thanks to the comments below I now know!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it but it molds on the outside My husband and I received this crockpot as a gift from my sister at the end of May 2019 (wedding gift). I love using it, but I’ve noticed that after I’ve used and washed it, let it completely dry, it molds on the outside of the ceramic crock. Not the inside, the outside, and it molds in such a way that it looks cracked. The mold wipes off but it’s disconcerting and I’m worried now about the integrity of the ceramic pot.
